Presto Dual Daddy Deep Fryer (Model 05450) is an electric deep fryer designed for home kitchens. Made of cast aluminum with ceramic non-stick coating (PFAS-free), it is both practical and safe.
With its unique dual-zone design, you can easily achieve “double frying in one pot” and process two ingredients at the same time without mixing flavors. With just a removable divider, the 8-cup large oil pan can be turned into two independent frying zones, so that chicken wings and onion rings can be put into the pot at the same time without mixing flavors. Pull out the divider to easily accommodate a whole 4-pound roasted chicken or a whole salmon.

How To Use?
Pretreatment:
Wash the inner pot, divider and oil filter spoon with warm water and neutral detergent, and thoroughly dry all parts (to avoid moisture causing oil explosion).
Add oil and preheat:
Add the corresponding amount of oil as required, connect the device and the magnetic plug first, then plug in the power supply; preheat for 20 minutes.
- Small portion: 6 cups of oil
- Large portion: 8 cups (never exceed the MAX line)
Recommended oil: peanut oil, rapeseed oil, corn oil, sunflower oil; do not use extra virgin olive oil.
Fry:
Use the oil filter spoon to put the ingredients in batches and stir gently to prevent sticking; after frying to the ideal color, use the filter spoon to drain the oil and place it on kitchen paper to absorb the oil.
Finishing work:
Unplug the power supply first, then disconnect the magnetic plug; after the device and oil are completely cooled, filter the oil residue (if necessary), pour out the waste oil, and clean the device.
Note: Do not place it in the dishwasher.
Presto Dual Daddy Deep Fryer User Guide
Oil specification: 6 cups of oil (1.4 liters) for small batches and 8 cups of oil (1.9 liters) for large batches. Do not exceed the maximum capacity.
Ingredients limit: Put a maximum of 8 cups of ingredients at a time, and 4 cups for homemade fries to prevent oil overflow.
Temperature reminder: Preheating takes 20 minutes. There may be a slight smoke or odor when using it for the first time, which is normal (residual substances evaporate).
Time reference: Different ingredients have different frying times (such as 3-5 minutes for frozen chicken nuggets and 3-4 minutes for raw fried fish fillets). Please refer to the attached timetable.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Do not immerse the whole machine in water, just wipe the outer shell with a damp cloth.
Use a soft sponge + detergent for the inner tank; steel wool is prohibited.
Check the handle screws every six months and make sure they are moderately tight.

Safety Warning
Anti-scalding:
- Do not touch metal surfaces during operation, and use the handle and oil filter spoon throughout the process.
- Children should be kept away from the device under adult supervision to avoid contact with the power cord or hot oil;
- Be sure to wipe off the moisture of the ingredients before putting them into the pot (especially frozen foods) to prevent oil and water from mixing and causing oil splashing.
Fire and electric shock protection:
- The original short magnetic wire is a safety design, and it is dangerous to change to a long wire.
- Keep the power plug and the device away from water sources to avoid immersion in water.
Oil safety:
- Only use high-temperature resistant vegetable oils (such as peanut and rapeseed oils). Extra virgin olive oil, butter, etc. are not recommended.
- If the oil becomes darker, has an odor, smokes or foams too much when heated, it needs to be replaced immediately and cannot be used anymore.
